Admins and makers can now use PowerFx functions (text, number, and date manipulation) directly within customer journey messages to enable advanced personalization without data model changes. This feature is automatically enabled and available in preview.

Apply a variety of PowerFx functions to text, numbers, and dates in messages. Text functions include concatenation, change case, trim, substitute, and replace. Number functions include arithmetic calculations, rounding, and formatting. Business Value: Enhance personalization by transforming data directly within your messages using PowerFx expressions. Standardize customer names (for example, convert to proper case), format dates and numbers for different regions, and perform simple calculations such as days until expiration or suggested donation amounts based on prior activity. These capabilities help you deliver more accurate, relevant, and engaging communications, all without requiring changes to your data model.
