SharePoint will add analytics tracking to show how often documents, news, and pages are referenced in Copilot and AI agent responses. Admins will gain insights into content usage patterns and which site content is being accessed by AI features.

AI citations analytics will help you track the usage of SP documents, news and pages through copilot and AI agents. You will be able to see how often a page or a file is referenced in a copilot response. You can also get insights into SharePoint site content getting referenced in copilot responses aggregated at the site level.
