Dynamics 365 Field Service will gain the ability to automatically complete linked Project Tasks when Work Orders are finished, keeping project plans synchronized with field execution without requiring manual updates.

Keep project plans aligned with field execution by automatically completing a linked Project Task when its Work Order is completed. When project work is carried out through Field Service, the Work Order often represents the execution of a specific Project Task. With this capability, organizations can configure Work Order Types so that completing the Work Order also completes the associated Project Task.
