SharePoint News authors will gain the ability to cross-post content to Engage communities or storylines, with unified rendering across web, mobile, desktop, and cloud apps. Comments will be managed through Engage's conversation module for a single discussion thread.

This feature allows SharePoint News authors to distribute posts to an Engage community or storyline while preserving full fidelity rendering and a unified conversation experience. SharePoint News post will appear consistently in Engage across feeds, digests, Outlook, Teams, desktop, web and mobile apps. When distributed, the SharePoint News comments module is replaced with the richer Engage conversation module, ensuring a single, shared discussion thread across surfaces.
