Dynamics 365 Project Operations users will gain the ability to cancel partial bookings from the schedule board instead of having to delete and recreate entire bookings. This new capability is automatically enabled and allows resource managers to view multiday bookings as daily blocks and cancel specific portions while preserving audit history.

This feature lets you: View continuous, multiday booking as blocks of booking for the daily/weekly/monthly view set on the schedule board. Select partial booking on the schedule board. Get cancel and delete options for complete booking and partial booking. Business Value: The partial booking modification feature lets resource managers cancel specific portions of a resource booking without deleting and recreating it. This reduces manual effort, improves scheduling accuracy, preserves audit history, and unlocks partially available capacity.
