Microsoft Edge: AI-powered History search
Microsoft Edge will begin offering AI-powered history search that uses on-device models to find sites even with synonyms, typos, or phrases. User data remains on-device and is not sent to Microsoft. Admins can disable this feature via group policy.
Action required: Review and configure the EdgeHistoryAISearchEnabled policy if you need to disable AI-powered history search in your organization.

Enhanced search finds sites in your History even when you use a synonym, phrase, or typo. After this feature is turned on, sites you visit will be shown in enhanced history search results. An on-device model is trained using your data, which never leaves your device and is never sent to Microsoft. Admins can use the EdgeHistoryAISearchEnabled policy to disable this feature.
